Q&A

People, Headshots & Portraits
Q: I always look awkward in photos — can you help with that?
A: Yes — that’s one of the most common concerns I hear. I guide you with precise but relaxed direction, using real-time iPad previews so you can adjust as we go. Within minutes, even camera-shy clients feel at ease and start to enjoy the process.
Q: Do you offer headshots for individuals and corporate teams?
A: Absolutely. I regularly photograph individuals needing updated portraits as well as full corporate teams. Each session is planned to be quick, consistent, and professional, whether it’s five people or fifty.
Q: Can you keep the same look if we hire new staff later?

A: Yes. I record lighting setups, background settings, and posing direction so we can match the look even months down the line. Your team images stay cohesive and consistent.
Q: What should I wear or prepare before the shoot?

A: I’ll send you a simple PDF with tips on grooming, clothing choices, and accessories, tailored to the type of portrait session you’ve booked. If needed, I can also connect you with a trusted makeup and grooming stylist.
Q: Which areas do you cover for people photography?

A: I work across Gauteng — including Centurion, Pretoria, Sandton, Rosebank, Bryanston, and Johannesburg. Studio sessions are available in Irene, or I can shoot on location at your offices.
ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS
Q: Why should I hire a professional for interior or architecture photography?

A: Great space photography is about more than just pointing a camera. I use specialist lenses, natural and added light, and careful framing to capture your design intent. Proper editing ensures correct colour, scale, and mood — something phones or casual snapshots can’t deliver.
Q: Do you work with interior designers or stylists during shoots?

A: Yes. I often collaborate with designers or property owners to style each room, refine layouts, and ensure every image highlights the best features of the space.
Q: Can you shoot both small interiors and large estates?

A: Definitely. I photograph everything from boutique Airbnb units to luxury homes and lifestyle estates. I also offer full-day bookings for larger properties and commercial developments.
Q: How do you handle lighting in difficult or low-light spaces?

A: I use natural light wherever possible but add subtle fill lighting when needed. I also shoot at ideal times of day — early morning or just before sunset — to get the most atmospheric and flattering results.
Q: Do you work in both Johannesburg and Pretoria for architectural photography?

A: Yes, I’m available throughout Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, Centurion, Midstream, and surrounding areas in Gauteng and all over South Africa. I have even photographed interiors in Italy and hotels in the Bahamas & Zambia
